Audi e-tron is more capable, confident, and fun to drive than Tesla Model X.

It can achieve up to 402 horsepower thanks to a 95-kWh battery and two liquid-cooled motors, and its standard 414 pound-feet of torque can reach a blistering 490 pound-feet using boost technology. Tesla Model X, however, can only get up to 328 horsepower.

Audi e-tron offers more comprehensive safety features than Tesla Model X. Its inclusions range from Audi pre sense rear and Audi pre sense city to Audi side assist, which features a vehicle exit warning and rear cross-traffic assist.

Your options in Tesla Model X are more limited: they only include automatic emergency brakes, forward-collision warning, blind-spot warning, stop sign recognition, and stoplight recognition.

Audi e-tron features an interior that's a bit more luxurious than that in Tesla Model X.

Thanks to the soundproofing of optional dual-pane windows and the nearly silent running of both motors, you can look forward to a peaceful ride. Seats come upholstered in leather, and ventilated front seats are standard throughout the line.

There's no standard front-seat ventilation in Tesla Model X and no massaging option. Though there are 88 cubic feet max for cargo, the second row doesn't fold.
