The President and Chief Executive Officer of Murgado Automotive Group, Mario Murgado, has been credited with reviving his dealerships for Buick, GMC, and Honda near Downtown Miami after several declining years under prior ownership. He has raised the
profile, sales, and profitability of the dealerships and transformed them into top performers for General Motors and Honda.
Outside of Murgado Automotive Group, he serves on the board of the South Florida Automobile Dealers Association. Outside of his business and industry, Murgado is active in numerous civic and community organizations. He currently is an active HistoryMiami Museum and Orange Bowl Committee board member and also chairs the board of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. His work carries over to the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, the BB&T Bank Advisory Board, and the Board of Trustees for St. Thomas University in Miami. He is also a member of the World Presidents’ Organization.
Murgado received the TIME Dealer of the Year award, awarded annually to only 60 dealers nationwide. He earned a B.A. in economics from LaSalle University and studied in the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. He lives in South Miami-Dade with his wife, Bibi.
As the group has grown, Andreus has led the dealership teams through the acquisitions and openings of new dealerships. In most cases, he has taken teams in dealerships that have underperformed for years and turned them around to be market leaders in sales
and customer satisfaction. Andreus was raised in the Miami area and often participates in events and organizations that help the less fortunate. He graduated from Barry University in Miami, Florida, with a Bachelor
of Science in Accounting. He lives in Miami and has two beautiful daughters.
When Barraza began his automotive career as a sales representative in Miami, he had a desire to make a mark in the automotive industry. Within three short years, he made this a reality. His sales skills helped him ascend through the ranks to General Manager,
overseeing a staff of more than 200 employees. In May 2001, Barraza and his partners, Murgado and Andreus, purchased struggling dealerships and quickly turned them into top-ranking stores in the country. Barraza
now counts more than 39 years of automotive experience. He has two children and lives with his wife, in Miami.
Jeffrey S. Nunberg is a successful entrepreneur, investor, automobile dealer, real estate developer, and philanthropist, born and raised in Miami, Florida. He purchased a one-man locksmith business in 1983, and over the next thirty-six years, he grew
that business into Integrated Security Systems with offices throughout the United States. In addition to ISS, he is a partner in Ferrari of Central New Jersey, as well as many dealerships in New Jersey, Chicago,
and Florida.
Jeff has a celebrated car collection with a focus on Ferraris dating from the 1960s to the present day. In addition to Ferrari, he has special cars from Pontiac, Porsche, and Ford within his collection. When asked which is his favorite car, he’ll respond “All of them!” His other passions include all things automotive, Formula 1 racing, road cycling, and collecting wine.
Mario Murgado Jr.’s automotive journey began when he started selling vehicles during his high school summer vacations.
Years later, at the start of 2020, the organization was in growth mode with ten dealerships
in operation and another eight launching that year for a total of eighteen dealerships. A new opportunity was given to Mario to oversee marketing and dealership operations. Mario has an appetite for knowledge and
is dedicated to continuing his family legacy and helping to propel the business to the next level. He is happily married, lives in Miami, and has a beautiful daughter.
Devin Carlson has had the privilege of being a part of the Audi brand for the majority of his tenure in the luxury automotive retail business. In 2013, under Devin as General Manager for Audi Stuart the store achieved Magna Society Elite status, the first
store in Audi history to accomplish this in its first year of business. Devin lives in Palm City with his wife and two daughters.
Gary began his career in 1987, with his ultimate goal to become a Dealer Principal. Gary proudly joined Murgado Automotive Group in 2018 as General Manager of Honda of Downtown Chicago, becoming an Operating Partner in 2021. He is actively involved in
the local Chicago community and has made this great city his permanent home.
